Who Needs Billboards...When There Are Humans

Who needs billboards, print ads, or TV commercials when you can use living, breathing, talking humans as advertising space. This is a relatively new trend in the advertising world, and I think it’s a fascinating one. Companies are paying people like you and me to wear t-shirts, get temporary tattoos, get real tattoos, and drive around in cars with their names on it.

Some parts of this trend seem a little “out there,” but I think that’s exactly why it works. People notice different, unique and wacky things. It has become harder and harder to get people to pay attention to a commercial or a magazine ad but a tattoo on someone’s forehead is something people would definitely take notice of.  This is something new that will not only catch peoples attention, but it will get them talking. And we can all agree that word-of-mouth is the best advertising there is!
